The Innocence

((Concept taken from D.Gray-Man manga and Zettai Karen Children.))

This is an alternate universe where people with ESP and magic power are recognized as part of daily life. These people are categorized into 7 levels based on their ability. First level is the lowest; people in this category can only practice small powered ESP or magic. The highest level is seven; people at this level are considered as the strongest mage or Espers. However, there are only 8 people on 7th level in this world. Not to mention seven of them are still kids and teenagers...

These kids, called The Children, are watched under a non-governmental organization the Cyril Order, named after its founder. The member of the Order are specially chosen people with unique and outstanding ability in ESP and magic and other people with special talent. The Order has two primary task. First is to find the Innocence, an ancient technology which is said can bring either destruction or the opposite depends on who use it. Second is to stop Earl the Millenium, an ancient demonic sorcerer who intents to destroy all life on world to cleanse it using the Innocence. Earl also tricks people using his illusion magic to create an image of dead relatives and friends into creating akuma -- an artificial devil, which later be used by him to against the Order. Earl also has many stray Espers and mages in his force.

Since akuma can impersonate human to blend in, The Order especially The Children are routinely assigned to track down and eliminate them.

The Children are believed as the only ones who can against Earl the Millenium. Along with everybody in the Order, they are responsible in protecting the world from Earl of Millenium's plan.

Personality: easily lose her confidence when things go awry, friendly towards everybody though she is shy most of time. Tends to be hard on herself.
Bio: She revealed her power after an incident at her village. Her biological parents, who were afraid of her power, then abandoned her. At 9 years old she was eventually found by Llyod Amorth who was the first Children and raised in the Organization. Her magic power gradually increased during the training until she became the second level 7 magician recruited by the Organization.

Personality: stiff and pretty cocky, though he can be kind and overly emotional sometimes.
Bio: He has been classified as a level 7 magician since 11 years old and was the first Children. After he turned to 17, he refused to be a Children anymore. He is chosen as the Children's field leader due to his status as another level 7. His parents and younger sister were killed by an Akuma when he was very young; his outstanding power as a mage was also activated in this event. The Organization then took him in.
He insisted the Organization to take Selena in because of her resemblance to his deceased sister.

Position: Has only just been found and makes his way along with his child hood friend to the orders head quarters
Personality: quiet, serious, loyal, hates to see others suffer
Bio: Elensar is currently unaware of his high potential, this is due to the artifact that his worn ever since he can remember, the copper necklace around his neck. He can’t recall who put it there, or why his not comfortable taking it off. He’d been traveling with his child hood friend Akira when he was approached to go to the Order, with prompting and curiosity from Akira, Elensar agreed to go. Elensar learnt to use to magical ability along with Akira from an old mage who has recently passed on from a heart attack.

Weapon: wields a pliable whip/snake sword, made of multiple lengths of metal sharpened on both sides, with a hilt that is charged with his magical ability

Bio: Akira has known Elensar most of his life. Akira’s village was destroyed in an akuma attack, and to survive he tagged along behind a group of ruffian bandits, and learnt the arts of war, survival and hard living among their number. Upon finding a badly wounded mage he helped him to a healer hoping for a reward and as the old man recovered, Akira was taught the basics of spell craft. When the mage discovered Akira’s inborn ability for burning light ability he took him from the bandits and took him as his apprentice, along with Elensar. Akira was by far more talented and powerful than the old man, but seemed to be weapons and his own hands orientated,
the old man despaired of ever purging his young charge of war but died of a heart attack. Akira became a traveler along with Elensar.

Personality: Kind and quiet. She likes to practice her magic by summoning small creatures that she often makes friends with.
Bio: Ikumi was always feared in her town for being "as strange as the creatures she created", and often was thought of as being one of those creatures pretending to be a human. Her father was often abusive toward her, and her mother died protecting her. Her older brother, Hiro, helped her to escape, and they have been together until they found the Order.

Bio: Hiro was often praised by his father, and he was always "the favorite". He has always cared for Ikumi, since their father hated her because he didn't have another son after Hiro. After his mother died, he took Ikumi away and they have been together since.
